Homemade sweets for children recipes. The most delicious chocolate. Rolls for dad

Every toddler loves to eat sweets. But what they will be: harmful or beneficial for the child's body, already largely depends on us parents.

It is no secret that a child's immunity is directly related to his nutrition. And if the baby periodically eats sweets and chips, drinking soda, it is not surprising that he often gets sick. All products containing GMOs, as well as excessively rich in sugar or, on the contrary, salt, to put it mildly, are not very useful for children's digestion. And, unfortunately, modern sweets sold in stores are no exception.

In addition to what they contain great amount very harmful additives: artificial dyes, flavors, antioxidants, they also include too much sugar and carbohydrates. And, as you know, children usually choose everything brighter, tastier. And they do not even suspect that the taste does not come from the product itself, but from the powder that was added to it. The uncontrolled use of such "sweets" certainly has a detrimental effect on children's health and sometimes even leads to early obesity if the child is genetically inclined to be overweight.

But you can’t deprive children of the most expensive thing, because for any child eating sweets is a kind of recharging with positive emotions and energy. In order for it to be correct and not to the detriment of health, you just need to choose safe, natural and healthy treats.

Safe sweets

In order not to overload the children's body with all sorts of chemical additives and dyes, choose more natural sweets. Here are some of them:

  1. Dried fruits and candied fruits. Due to the fact that these are natural sweets that nature itself gives us, they are enriched with many useful vitamins. For example, prunes contain B vitamins, and are also rich in mineral elements: iron, magnesium and sodium. And dried apricots and raisins give our body potassium and beta-carotene, which is involved in all metabolic processes. Such delicacies are useful for children of any age to maintain immunity, and especially for schoolchildren during periods of great mental and physical stress.
  2. Fruit . In terms of usefulness, they are not inferior to dried fruits. In the daily diet of any child should be present fresh fruits and vegetables. They are rich in fiber and help improve digestion. Some children, for example, prefer carrots to all sweets, for them it is sweeter than any chocolate bar. And in Portugal, they generally consider it a fruit and make jam from it. If your toddler doesn't like fruit or vegetables, try getting creative and changing the serving. Give them not in their entirety, but in beautifully cut pieces and laid out on a plate in the form of a sun, a bunny or a bear.
  3. Pastila and marshmallows. As a rule, they are made from natural ingredients and do not contain harmful substances.
  4. Halva. Another type of treats made from natural nuts or seeds. But due to the large amount of sugar in its composition, children still should not be given a lot of this delicacy.
  5. Honey. It contains a large amount of nutrients: amino acids, antioxidants and vitamins. In addition, honey is a natural remedy for the beginning of a cough in children. Thanks to its beneficial and anti-inflammatory properties, it relieves pain symptoms and promotes a quick recovery. However, it is worth considering that honey is quite an allergenic product. Therefore, it is necessary to give it to children only if the child is not prone to allergies.

Recipes for homemade and delicious sweets

But what about your favorite sweets that have nothing to replace? Chocolate, marmalade and glazed curds. They are easy to prepare at home. Every mother should be able to prepare healthy sweets that always delight children. And if a daughter or son also helps with this, then the goodies will be eaten very quickly, because homemade food is always tastier. Here are some original recipes for cooking homemade delicacies.

Chocolate paste

Ingredients:

  • butter- 50 g
  • cocoa powder - 5-6 tbsp. l.
  • milk - 200 ml
  • sugar - 2 tbsp. l

Cooking

Melt the butter in a saucepan, add cocoa, sugar and milk alternately. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly and then bring to a boil. In order for our paste to take the form of chocolate, pour it into some container and let it harden in the refrigerator.

Curd glazed bars

Ingredients:

  • Curd 200g
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Butter 1 tsp
  • Vanillin 1 tsp

For glaze:

  • Chocolate 100g
  • Butter 50g

Cooking

First, let's make the filling. Slightly warmed butter is well rubbed with sugar and vanilla. Then add cottage cheese and just as well wipe the whole mass until a homogeneous consistency. We shift the resulting mass with a pastry bag or a regular plastic bag (you need to cut off a corner on one side) onto parchment paper. You need to squeeze out in small cubes, so as to make our future curds, about 5-6 cm long. We put them in the freezer for 1-1.5 hours. When they are frozen, start preparing the glaze. To do this, in a water bath, over low heat, melt the pieces of chocolate and butter until smooth. Then we glaze our cheese curds, stringing them on wooden skewers and pouring them alternately with chocolate. After that, you will have to wait a little longer until the finished cheese curds slightly harden in the refrigerator (we put it in the freezer for 20 minutes).

Tangerine marmalade

Ingredients:

  • Tangerines 5 pcs.
  • Carnation 3pcs.
  • Gelatin 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar 0.5 cup

Cooking

Peel the tangerines and squeeze out the juice. Then put the juice on the stove and add the cloves, cook for 5 minutes. Gradually add sugar and gelatin, cook for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly. The mass should thicken enough. This is easy to check by dropping a drop of marmalade on the lid and see if it has retained its shape, then it's time to turn it off. Pour the slightly cooled mass into figured molds. Then we leave the marmalade to harden in a cool place.

Children will be happy to eat such homemade sweets, and learn how to cook healthy treats with you, bringing only benefit and joy.

Fruit Dessert Recipes β€”

Good day to you, my beloved readers! Oh, what are our children still sweet tooth. Yes, children! Some even in their "...twenty" do not want to leave this chocolate and candy age and eat all sorts of sweet goodies in kilograms.

We, adults, of course, do not feel sorry for anything for children. But! The family dentist at every appointment says: β€œLess sweets!” On colorful wrappers, almost everywhere you can find threatening "dye", "preservatives", "stabilizer", "emulsifier" and other bad things. And how in such a variety of candy-caramel-chocolate abundance to keep the health of the little sweet tooth?!

You can probably limit your children in such a small joy, but, for example, I can rarely refuse my child, who, with the pleading eyes of a cat from Shrek, is ready to take the last piece of chocolate out of my mouth. Again, you see, it’s hard to do without sweets for your birthday. What will we bring to kindergarten and what will we treat classmates at school?

In general, there are only temptations around. But there must be healthy sweets for children! It can't be all chemical and plasticine! Let's try to make a list of reliable mood stimulants and learn how to cook sweet masterpieces with our own hands without harmful additives.

Lesson plan:

Dried fruits

I put them first on the list, as they really are a storehouse of goodies and usefulness. Prunes, figs, cherries, strawberries, dried apricots, apple, melon and pear slices, pineapple and banana slices, raisins are one exceptional benefit.

Here you are for vision, and for the gastrointestinal tract, and for the nervous system, and for hemoglobin, and for the kidneys, and for the liver, and in general for everything at once. And note: without excess sugar, therefore, even a two-year-old sweet tooth can be offered such a yummy. You should not choose only one of some, it is advisable to arrange a "dry" cocktail.

Note recipe. We make sweets from dried fruits. We take what the child's soul desires, everything in a blender, for viscosity a little bit of honey and sculpt balls. If you want, add chopped nuts and, when ready, roll the rounds in coconut flakes, poppy seeds or sesame seeds. For entourage, wrap in multi-colored foil. You can put it in the refrigerator for a while. And "whoever ate the soup - that candy!"

Marmalade and marshmallow

No harmful fats, no chemical dyes and thickeners. Only agar-agar filled with iron, potassium and iodine, natural pectin and gelatin squeezed from fruits.

Proper marmalade and marshmallows become cherry, raspberry, orange and strawberry only thanks to the natural juices that are part of them, and certainly not because of the addition of dyes that are β€œidentical to natural”. Benefits for the thyroid gland, liver, bone tissue - all in one bottle.

Note recipe. What sweet tooth would refuse natural gummies? Pour 20g of gelatin into 100ml of freshly squeezed fruit juice and set aside until it swells. At this time, from 2 cups of sugar and 100 ml of water, cook a syrup into which you can rub the zest of a lemon or orange. We cook it for 5 minutes, stirring it so that it does not burn, then we filter it, and now you can run the infused gelatin along with the juice there. Pour everything into beautiful cells from under the sweets and cool on the windowsill. And for the most obedient sweets are ready.

Jam

Yes, yes, do not be surprised, it is jam. Only this is not the one that we used to boil in enameled basins, pouring tons of granulated sugar into the berries so that our culinary masterpieces they didn’t ferment, but five-minutes or also called β€œcold” and β€œraw” jams.

The most important thing is a minimum of heat treatment, or you can do without it at all, so that your favorite berries and fruits retain all their freshness and usefulness.

Note recipe. In the summer-autumn season, you can prepare a drop of fruit and berry snacks for the winter. Strawberries, currants, raspberries, dogwood and many other berries along with fruits cold winter will warm the soul of any sweet tooth. So, everything we love - in a blender, for sweetness a drop of sugar, or better - honey, put it in small containers and in the freezer. You can pour it into candy cells, you get small berry candies. And the leftovers that did not fit into the refrigerator compartment can be eaten straight from the heat - from the heat! And "who helps mom - that jam!"

Honey

Who will argue that bee honey is not only a delicacy, it is also a cure for almost all diseases! Here you have fruit acids, and mineral salts, and essential oils, and a bunch of all sorts of useful components that are so necessary for children.

Linden is considered the best for colds, buckwheat - to strengthen blood vessels and immunity, with sage - from stomach troubles. With honey, of course, you need to be careful, because some may be allergic to bee products, but if your child is among those to whom it is not contraindicated, then welcome.

If not everyone is ready to eat honey with spoons, then offer pollen and honeycombs instead of harmful chewing gum. We chew them like chewing gum for a long time, and then we spit out the chewed wax. Even a 2 year old can do it!

Note recipe. We increase the usefulness of fruits. Let's make honey jelly. First, soak the gelatin (1 sachet is enough), then you will need it. We heat 100 ml of any honey in a water bath, there 400 ml of water, half a glass of granulated sugar, for the smell and taste of vanilla, and bring everything β€œto boiling bubbles”. We introduce the swollen gelatin into our boiling mixture and heat for another two minutes. We cut fruits that your family loves, putting as much creativity as possible into this process: circles, stars, squares, flowers. We lay out the carved fruit beauty in the bowls in the form of a panel, pour honey syrup on top and leave to harden. If you want to make the jelly colored, use your favorite juice instead of water or half with water. And for the healthiest fruit jelly is ready!

Paste

Real, correct, it is made only from fruit and berry puree and is not boiled, therefore it retains all the useful elements that are contained in fruits and berries. Some other housewives call her raw food chewing sweets.

Banana with strawberries, peach with pear, apple with cinnamon - there can be many recipes. And again, conscientious manufacturers of sweets for children try to do without sugar, and add honey for sweetness.

Note recipe. Would you like an apple pie? Everything is simple! Peel 0.5 kg of apples, put them in 400 ml of water and simmer over low heat until our bulk fruits are boiled. Cool everything that has been cooked, transfer it to a blender, add 300 g of sugar there and beat. Parchment paper on a baking sheet, grease it with oil, so that later you do not chew marshmallow with paper, pour applesauce layer no thicker than 1 cm. If there is no special household appliance called a dehydrator, then it will take a long time to dry in the oven - about 2 days, periodically taking out our marshmallow, cooling it, and then putting it back in the oven. When the apple treat is ready, it can be cut into strips and wrapped in tubes. For beauty, sprinkle with powdered sugar. And "who is the most courageous, dexterous, skillful - that sweet chewing gum!"

Chocolate

I left the king of sweets "for a snack." Well, how without this stimulant of brain activity ?! After all, it is both tasty and healthy. Only now, not all, but bitter, which contains at least 60-70% cocoa beans. So, if you want your child’s head to work properly, there was no stress, blood β€œruns” well through the vessels and the gastrointestinal tract works, do not start your acquaintance with chocolate with your favorite dairy types. Offer bitter immediately.

Note recipe. Let's make our own chocolate! All you need is 60g of grated cocoa, 60g of cocoa butter and 80g powdered sugar. Unfortunately, ready-made cocoa powder in packs is not quite suitable for these purposes - it turns out tasteless, unsaturated. So, put all the ingredients on a slow fire and, stirring, bring to a boil, but do not boil! Cool the sweet mass and pour into a suitable form. For sophisticated β€œpretentious” whims, add nuts, dried fruits or berries. And for the smartest chocolate miracle ready!

And here is the video recipe

These are the healthy snacks I found today for our children. And in your chest of tips, what are the recipes for sweets? Looking forward to your sweetly helpful comments!

Sweet and healthy life to you and your children!

Since I started to touch on the topic of nutrition from an angle that is unusual for many, I can’t resist writing an article about baby food, and in particular about snacks for kids...

I am in a constant search for information, and do not pretend to be the truth. I test everything in practice.

I never thought about food as deeply as I do now. And, looking back, I see photographs of my eldest daughter with a face smeared with chocolate "anniversary" cookies, and my daughter is barely a year old ... Another photo is the beginning of complementary foods, where she sits in my arms at seven or eight months smeared with cottage cheese , another time with mushy biscuits "Maria". And let someone say that I didn’t have enough knowledge not to give these food products, to which I will answer that I justified my actions .. Now everything is fine with us, my daughter eats absolutely normally, with food interest and our behavior is good. But I recently thought about the usefulness of this method and even wrote a separate article on this topic. After all, most parents do not even imagine what our body really needs ... A couple of years ago, when I just created this site, I wrote that they certainly work, but I was still not able to catch the most important idea. ..

But it is so simple, so natural that it becomes surprising why people do not understand this? Or why can't they?

But back to the topic of the article, or rather to children and their nutrition.

Shelves in supermarkets and markets are full of children's "snacks". Manufacturers hide these very chemical sweets behind beautiful packaging, lure them with toys ...

"Mom, I want something tasty" - how often children ask their parents for something like that - sort of .... And everyone has their own sweets. It is good if parents clearly understand everything that is happening around and feed their children exclusively with natural products. Oh, now it's a fashionable word "natural", meat, everything is natural .. mayonnaise and that natural .... Has anyone ever thought about the benefits of these products for the child's body? But as it sounds: NATURAL. πŸ™‚

Only the expression "everyone ate like that all their lives" is not appropriate here. This is a phrase I hear very often. Counter question - all my life, whose is it? How long? Several generations? And how did these people deal with health in old age?

Well, let's take to answer the question, the data - "they ate all their lives." What did they eat? In what quantity? How do you feel in old age? The last question generally dismisses this task as untenable. Do you understand?

1. The way most older people look now does not inspire any confidence in me ...

2. Let's make things worse. These elderly people did not consume all the rubbish that is now sold under the guise of food in beautiful packages. The next question is logically, what will happen to us? Even cooler - and with our children?

Okay. Let's assume that, after all, most parents consciously approach the nutrition of children and feed them exclusively with home-made dishes. There is undoubtedly a plus, in home cooking there are no preservatives, dyes, flavor enhancers, sweeteners and other rubbish. But what remains in the cooked food useful? Vitamins? Minerals? Trace elements?

Yes, yes, judging by the numerous articles on the Internet, I really believe in the usefulness of fruits and vegetables. But by the number of culinary sites, I can conclude that people absolutely do not think about what remains in their masterpieces after cooking, parks, frying, stewing ... As if the main thing in all these processes is to get an excellent taste, and no one cares what will happen inside us in the body ...

Children... They resist as much as they can, but then they get used to it. And they eat, eat, because they live in the microclimate of the family.

I foresee some objections about some babies who gobble up everything that you don’t offer by both cheeks. The question of food choice, the question of food preferences is much broader and deeper, it does not come down to just putting it in your mouth or your child at the moment. We are all hostages of a vicious circle, all captivated by the habits that grew with us in the womb, because our mother also ate "all her life she ate like that" ..., then we strengthened the habits with breast milk, further at the common family table with family traditions.

There are whole cookbooks and websites dedicated to baby food. Someone does not give anything harmful to a child under three years old, someone eats useful things in life. Everyone has their own way, and in choosing a way of eating too. One thing is clear, the child will eat the way his parents eat. And it's very sad to see a preschooler who already has obvious signs of being overweight, It's not like he's to blame for his eating habits... Thank you parents to say.

But there is a little snag here:

If parents only want to teach their child the basics healthy eating, without following them personally, then the likelihood that, having matured, the child will not thank you is very high.

If, on the example of parents, a child sees the contents of their plates, learns to correctly give preference to certain products, following the example of mom and dad, then most likely, becoming an adult himself, he will remain true to his healthy habits in choosing food.

Suppose that parents decide to instill in their child a love of healthy foods. There is also a small problem - society ...

Everyone eats ... Sooner or later, the child will become interested in other people and in particular what they put in their mouths. And this topic is very large, so about it in another article next time.

I'll just point this out here. It’s not scary if friends eat something different from what the child is taught to eat, it’s worse when relatives do not share views on useful or harmful. After all, relatives are the inner circle of children, at first it is difficult for a child to understand why a mother offers one thing, and a grandmother is completely different ...

In any case, you should not make a problem out of this and try to achieve some kind of absolute or ideal. After all, the child will live in this society, so he has a great opportunity to make a choice, and it is the parents who can lay the basis for this choice. Do you know that in most cases parents choose for a birthday treat in kindergarten or school?

And no one will even think that this is just a dummy that does not carry anything but sugar in itself ...

5.- ice cream or popsicles made from freshly squeezed juice.

Much easier - squeezed the juice and froze! Tasty, healthy and a real delicacy for children, which does not contain sweeteners, dyes, flavor enhancers and other chemicals. Although frozen juice is delicious on its own, you can still experiment. Add whipped bananas or pears, peaches, you can combine the juice with almond milk, coconut flakes, add cocoa or carob. You can beat the apricots soaked overnight (he sweeter than dried apricots), add berries and freeze. Be sure to try this ice cream, my daughter can’t be torn off from it, now store-bought ice cream seems tasteless to us :).

2. Dried fruits.

With dried fruits, too, everything seems clear. Everyone understands that any dried fruit is better than any candy. But rarely, who prefers them. Why? They are not tasty... True, those that are sold in supermarkets... And if you carefully study the labels, you may be surprised to notice that preservatives are added to dried fruits... To be honest, when I first noticed this, I was in shock, and could not answer myself the question - why? Even though everyone knows why...

To fall in love with dried fruits, you need to look for the right dried fruits, carefully dried in the sun or even better in the shade. The market is here to help. If you manage to find and try real dried fruits, you will no longer want to buy plastic dried apricots in hypermarkets.

1.- Dried fruit sweets.

At one time I experimented a lot with recipes, you can read about it and. But then I came to the conclusion that such sweets are ideal for the period when you are trying to give up confectionery, then homemade sweets are a real lifesaver. Then the tastes change and you can enjoy just dried fruits.

A simple idea to put nuts in figs, prunes and dried apricots, you don’t have to grind anything, such sweets are elementary in production.

2.- You can experiment with a combination of different dried fruits.

For example, I found such a melon with raisins and walnut. Very tasty.

3.- Uryuk.

Previously, I was skeptical about this product, why buy apricot with a bone, and even not beautiful, when amazingly beautiful dried apricots lie nearby. But I was very wrong. This "ugly duckling" is insanely delicious, soak it overnight, and in the morning you get divine fruits!

4.- I can also offer an alternative to McDonald's - fig burgers.

An excellent combination of dried apricots, figs and prunes.

5.- "yogurts" sesame or linen with dried apricots or dates.

This is a very tasty snack or afternoon snack or even an addition to breakfast.

A tablespoon of sesame seeds or flax seeds in a glass of water, plus apricots or dates somewhere around 4. It turns out 4 types of "yogurt":

  • - apricot-sesame
  • - apricot-linen
  • -chocolate-sesame (with dates)
  • -chocolate linen (also with dates)

Chocolate yogurt - my daughter gave the name, apparently because of the color. πŸ™‚

3. The third group is Nuts.

But again, not fried and soaked for several hours. Did you know that most people who consume nuts experience stomach discomfort afterwards? And this is not surprising, because nuts are heavy food, and roasted nuts become ten times heavier ...

If you have not tried soaked raw nuts - almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, be sure to try. After their moderate consumption in the stomach, there is no heaviness and discomfort.

1.-Nut milk.

Preparing it is very simple: you just need to soak nuts, such as almonds, overnight, and beat in a blender with water in the morning or afternoon. Here you can add various spices according to your taste - cinnamon, cardomom, cocoa or carob, honey, etc., or leave just nuts. After whipping, strain the resulting mixture - the milk is ready.

Another delicious snow milk recipe:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame
  • 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 1 date
  • 1 cup water

Mmmmm, very tasty. :), you can add a poppy.

sesame-poppy milk with dried apricots

2. - from the cake of almonds, I came up with this recipe "potato cake"

For 1 cup of soaked almonds - Almond meal (you can just beat the soaked almonds in a blender with a little water)

When whipping nuts, I add a grain of cardamom, it is this that gives the potatoes a specific flavor. You can also add grated cocoa.

Dates 8-10 pieces

Carob about 2 tablespoons

Bran 2-4 tablespoons

The amount is approximate, as I always look at the consistency. The mass is not very thick, you can’t make balls, I lay it out in paper molds and sprinkle with sesame seeds or coconut flakes. I put it in the fridge overnight.

Real jam! Better than any confectionery potato. πŸ˜‰

4.- gozinaki

I made kozinaki several times at different temperatures and, accordingly, the duration of production is also different. If you save everything useful material in sunflower seeds, dates, raisins and bananas, then dry at a temperature of 40 degrees for almost a day, or even more. If you don’t worry about this topic, but just make delicious gozinak from homemade ingredients, then at a temperature of 100-150 degrees you can handle it in 4 hours, I didn’t measure it exactly, if you set 180-200 degrees, you can probably handle it in an hour. I used an electric oven, you can dry it in the dryer.

These are the goats I got:

  • Sunflower seeds
  • almond cake (from almond milk)
  • Banana

I will make a reservation right away that the flour is unusual: amaranth and oatmeal. Since I bought it recently, I'm trying to find a use for it. :).

This group of sweets is a great alternative to store-bought cookies, I don’t know how you are doing with this product, but my favorite pastime was to sit with a cup of fragrant herbal tea with cookies. Now I try to replace my habit with the above recipes. And if you really want to bake or your daughter asks, I bake it myself.

At this stage, I think that such sweets are better than industrial cookies and rolls .

1. Here are such delicious cupcakes made from amaranth flour (you can replace it with regular flour)

All 1 glass

  • Kefir
  • Sugar
  • Manka
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 1 teaspoon soda

2. I also tried this banana-amaranth bread.

Banana amaranth bread with nuts

Ingredients: 1 cup wheat flour, 1 cup amaranth flour, 1 teaspoon soda, 2 beaten eggs, 0.5 cup melted butter, 0.5 cup honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup beaten bananas, 1 cup nuts.

  • Lollipops (such as Chupa Chups) have the most destructive effect on children's teeth, so it is better to replace such sweets with natural marmalade.
  • Pops - usually they are very bright in color, children like their "explosive" effect, which actually acts as a reagent on ice - it corrodes and destroys the mucous membrane and stomach.
  • Chocolate wafers contain, instead of nutrients, foods such as soy, margarine, palm oil, sugar and dyes, which disrupt the metabolism in the child's body.
  • Carbonated drinks, without exception, contain a huge amount of sugars and substitutes. Once in the child's body, they can cause diseases such as diabetes and hormonal disorders of the pancreas.

However, you should not categorically forbid your baby to eat sweets, because it is thanks to sugars that our body is provided with the necessary carbohydrates.
